Dr. Thompson began his dental career at age eighteen as an in-house laboratory technician. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1996 and completed a one-year hospital-based V.A. Residency Program in General Dentistry. In 1997, he bought an established private practice in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He founded the Wellness Dentistry Network in 2016. Dr. Thompson believes in an interdisciplinary treatment model, employs advanced DNA bacterial testing, and has published articles on salivary testing for periodontal disease.
