Dr. Brett Kelly is an Indiana native hailing from Dyer, in “the region” in Northwest Indiana. After graduating from Lake Central High School and receiving his B.S. dual majoring in Chemistry and Biology at Valparaiso University, he went on to dental school at Marquette University where he graduated cum laude and received the Quintessence award in clinical Periodontics. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Minnesota before returning to Indiana for his Periodontics residency at the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. His brother is an IU Kelley School graduate living in Indianapolis, and his dad is a region rat and college basketball fan who loves coming down to scenic southern Indiana for a hike or a game. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking (without Cilantro which tastes like soap), cycling to make up for those foods, and reading – both for fun and to stay up to date on the latest in Periodontics. He considers himself a foodie and is always looking for a new place to try!
