Ryan grew up in Crown Point, Indiana where he attended and graduated from Crown Point High School in 1987. Upon graduation, Ryan enrolled at Purdue University where he received his BS in 1991. While working in the steel industry over the next ten years, Ryan attended Indiana University and received his MBA in 1998. Ryan left northwest Indiana to attend Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis and graduated in May of 2005. Ryan was married in 2000 to his wife, Michele. They have three children. Ryan enjoys his family, movies, traveling, sports, and home remodeling.
