Dr Scott Harris

Dr. Harris’s love for dentistry began in high school as an intern at his uncle’s periodontal office. He went on to enroll at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and entered The University of Florida College of Dentistry where he graduated with high honors. While at the University, he did externships at the Florida Health & Science University and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (Parkland Hospital). After graduation, he did a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Kentucky. In his spare time, Dr. Harris served as a volunteer for the “We Care” and “Give Kids a Smile” dental programs. The University of Florida and the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery awarded Dr. Harris their prestigious Dr. Martin S. Lebowitz Award. The American Academy of Oral Medicine recognized Dr. Harris with their Certificate of Merit of Achievement, Proficiency, and Promise. Our dentist in Boca Raton believes in staying up to date with the latest techniques and technologies for restorative dentistry, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, aligner therapy (Invisalign), full mouth reconstructions, and many other dental procedures to provide optimal oral healthcare to his patients. He has taken extensive continued education on implantology with the University of Florida and other prestigious institutions thus earning him a fellowship in the International College of Oral Implantology and certification in Intravenous Sedation. He is a member of the American Dental Association, International College of Oral Implantology and Florida Dental Association.
