Dr. Simescu is originally from Romania, where she first graduated from dental school, practiced for a few years and taught in the prosthodontics department at her alma mater in the beautiful city of Cluj Napoca. Proof that she really loves dentistry, she went back to dental school upon moving to the US and received her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Dr. Simescu is proud to call Boerne her home now and considers herself privileged to be serving the dental health care needs of her community. She sees dentistry as a blend of art, science and a sincere desire to help people. Committed to providing quality dental care in a friendly and comfortable environment, Dr. Simescu continually updates and refines her skills through numerous continuing education courses every year. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and San Antonio District Dental Society.
