Dr. David M. Huffaker was raised in Centerville, Utah, the second of six children to Dr. Todd and Maureen Huffaker. After observing a dentist in Bogota, Colombia restore a friend’s aching tooth, Dr. Huffaker determined to learn how to help others overcome thier dental concerns. Dr. Huffaker studied at Weber State University and after only three years of college was accepted into the School of Dentistry at West Virginia University where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. He then went to Colorado where he continued his studies with a General Practice Residency in a Level 1 Trauma Unit at Denver Health Medical Center. There Dr. Huffaker had the opportunity to work with oral surgeons, ER doctors, and anesthesiologists and gained a broad education in comprehensive medical and dental care. Returning to Utah, he established his private dental practice in Centerville in 2006. Dr. Huffaker is married to Chelsea Hinckley, also a Davis County native. They have four beautiful children who keep them happily busy. He enjoys spending time with his family traveling, exploring new places, attending local cultural events, trying out new restaurants, and relaxing with a good movie.
