Dr. Poorna Phaltankar, associate dentist, is thrilled to be a member of Dr. Daly’s team at Waugh Chapel Dental. Raised in Virginia Beach, Dr. Phaltankar, or “Dr. P”, spent most of her life in Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia and then completed a master’s degree at Georgetown. She spent one year in southwest Virginia working for AmeriCorps before attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Phaltankar completed a general practice residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in 2018. Dr. Phaltankar resides in Old Town Alexandria where she can often be found running the Mount Vernon Trail and reading by the Potomac River.
