Dr. Rachel Smith was born and raised in Florida. She received her bachelors degree in Biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa. In 2012, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. After earning her dental degree, she completed a general practice residency at Cambridge Health Alliance and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. While in residency, she gained comprehensive training in general dentistry, community health, and patients with special needs. After residency, Dr. Smith worked in a general dentistry practice in Florida before moving to Maryland in 2015 where she began working in long-term care facilities. She is focused on improving the oral health and quality of life of her patients. Dr. Smith currently resides in Crofton with her husband Justin and their three children, Sophia, Olivia, and Ethan. She enjoys traveling, pilates, and spending time with family and friends.
