Doctor Shuemaker attended the University of Louisville for his undergraduate studies, receiving the McConnell Scholarship for political leadership, and graduated with a degree in Biology in 2003, with a minor in political science. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2008. He then practiced in Birmingham, AL for 5 years focusing on children’s dentistry. He moved to Bowling Green in 2013 with his wife Jennifer, who is a practicing Nephrologist. Together they have two children. Dr. Shuemaker has been practicing with Bluegrass Oral Health Center since late 2013 at primarily the Smith’s Grove and Morgantown offices. While he enjoys all areas of general dentistry, he particularly enjoys Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Shuemaker enjoys golf, softball, fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
