Dr. Justin M. Cifuni is a board certified Periodontal Surgeon who specializes in both Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. In addition, he is also a clinical instructor in the Periodontics Advanced Specialty Education Program at Boston University's Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM). Before attending dental school, Dr. Cifuni obtained a Master of Arts with a major in Medical Science from Boston University's School of Medicine. He was involved in research projects at both the university and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Cifuni continues to work on multiple clinical research projects with numerous companies as well with Boston University in an effort to advance treatments in the field of Periodontology. Currently, he is working on a number of projects pertaining to hard and soft tissue regeneration along with minimally invasive surgical therapies involving micro instruments and medical lasers.
