Dr Jesse Alonso

Born and raised in Valrico, Florida, Dr. Jesse Alonso embodies the spirit of his community. Growing up in a military household as the son of an Air Force Veteran, Dr. Alonso developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for service from his hard-working parents. Dr. Alonso’s journey into dentistry began to take shape when his mother became a Dental Assistant, sparking his interest in the field. Earning his way through high school and college, he started his dental career as a Sterilization Technician in a family-owned practice. Dr. Alonso’s unwavering dedication to dentistry propelled him to academic heights, first earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida, followed by graduating with distinction from Hillsborough Community College as a Registered Dental Hygienist with a stellar 4.0 GPA. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and excellence, he sought admission to the prestigious University of Florida College of Dentistry. During his tenure, he actively engaged in a Summer Dental Research Program and contributed his insights as a member of the UF College of Dentistry Admissions Committee. In 2014, his perseverance culminated in the attainment of his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, a testament to years of relentless dedication. Post-graduation, he remains committed to nurturing aspiring professionals, extending his mentorship to aid others in realizing their aspirations within the field. Rooted in his hometown, Dr. Alonso felt a strong calling to give back to his community. He fulfilled this commitment by establishing Alonso Family Dental, a local, family-owned private practice nestled in the heart of Brandon. Committed to creating a haven for all dental needs, Dr. Alonso leverages the latest technology to provide comprehensive services, ranging from endodontics to veneers, implants, and orthodontics. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Alonso is a devoted family man. Married to his high school sweetheart, he and his wife are proud parents to three beautiful children and two fur babies. In his spare time, Dr. Alonso actively engages in family activities, supports his children’s extracurricular pursuits, and gives back to the community. Dr. Alonso is also a Lego fanatic and you will find him building Lego when he finds a spare moment of free time, reflecting his playful spirit and dedication to creating smiles both inside and outside the dental office.
