Dr. Johnson grew up in the Tampa Bay area. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Chemistry and then received his dental degree with honors from Boston University. Upon completion of his education, he established both the FishHawk and Summerfield Family Dental practices. Currently, Dr. Johnson is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserve. He has served stateside, in South America, and Iraq during his over thirty year military career. Dr. Johnson is also a volunteer dentist for the Special Olympics Smile Program and the Judeo Christian Clinic. He is a member of the American Dental Association and is a Research Associate at the University of Florida College of Dental Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Johnson serves on the Board of Directors of Suncoast Credit Union. He enjoys mountain biking, golf, and spending time with his wife, two daughters and their Boxer dog Charlie.
