Dr. Kabouris earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine also in Boston, MA. After finishing her GP residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York, she joined the Mount Sinai Health System in New York, NY, in 2020 and earned the distinction of completing a residency in Pediatric dentistry. Dr. Kabouris has wanted to be a dentist ever since she was a little girl. She was inspired by her own pediatric dentist and wanted to replicate her positive experience for others. She is a lover of ice cream and the colour pink. Dr. Athena spends her free time exercising and enjoying the company of her husband and their son, Michael and two daughters, Elena and Sophia.
