Dr. Stacey Michael graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2000 with a degree in Biological Sciences. She received her dental degree (DMD) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2004. The most distinguished graduate in her class, she received awards in General Dentistry, Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine, and was recognized for her leadership and community service. She was also one of three graduates inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Michael completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington before going into private practice in 2005. She practiced in both Hamden and Guilford, CT before opening Michael Dental of Clinton in 2016. In June, 2018, Dr. Michael earned the prestigious Fellowship Award (FAGD) in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Michael has also had advanced training in treating patients with sleep apnea using oral appliance therapy. In 2021, she earned Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Michael is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Shoreline Dental Society, and the River Valley Study Club. She has served as a part-time clinical faculty member of Operative Dentistry and as a student mentor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
