Dr. Fam was born in New Brunswick, NJ. He received his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine) in 2006. Prior to that, he graduated from Rutgers College, New Brunswick in 2001 with a Biology degree and a minor in Psychology. Since starting his career as a dentist in 2006, Dr. Fam has completed over 1000 hours of continuing education, receiving Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency in General Dentistry at The University Hospital in Newark NJ, with an emphasis on dental trauma and emergencies. Dr. Fam also completed a 3-year Fellowship in Dental Implantology at NYU College of Dentistry in 2015 and has completed hundreds of dental implant cases from start to finish (diagnosis-planning-surgical-prosthetic and management) since 2012. Dr Fam emphasizes the prevention of dental problems to all patients. Most aspects of general dentistry performed in the office.
