Dr. Madera was born in the Bronx, NY. At the age of five, he moved to the Dominican Republic where he grew up and later attended the “Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra” where he received his degree in Doctor of Stomatology. In 1989, he came back to New York to attend NYU College of Dentistry where he received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. He completed his residency in Noblebiocare Dental Implant in 1996. Dr. Madera worked in New York City and shortly moved to Connecticut. In 1994 he opened his own business in Bridgeport, CT where he became the first Latino dentist in the area. In 1998 he expanded to a second office in Norwalk, CT. Dr. Madera has over 20 years of experience and has been dedicated to helping the Hispanic and Brazilian community. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association, International Congress of Implant, Holy Dental Relief, and Vice President of an NGO Organization.
