Dr Tara Babushkin

Dr. Tara Babushkin earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she engaged in a comprehensive educational experience integrating biomedical, behavioral and clinical science. Dr. Babushkin excelled both academically and in the UCONN dental clinic where she treated patients, developing and enhancing her competency in general dentistry. She organized and participated in several service trips including travels to Ghana and Guatemala to provide dental care in underserved communities. Dr. Babushkin continued her pursuit of exceptional clinical dentistry by completing a general practice residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. At the Stony Brook Hospital Dental Clinic, Dr. Babushkin gained valuable experience performing a variety of advanced dental procedures and treating a multitude of patients including those with complex medical issues. Her patients often comment about how her warm and welcoming personality puts them at ease. A member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Babushkin is committed to post-graduate education as a way to continually hone her skills and improve her expertise in all aspects of dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. Babushkin enjoys playing tennis, paddle, and golf and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Jeffrey Babushkin has championed his daughter's pursuit of excellence in dentistry. He continues to serve as her mentor and to impart knowledge, skills, and the most innovative techniques in dentistry. The Drs.
