Dr. Jorge Baujin joined the practice in 1992. He is a graduate of the New Jersey School of Medicine and Dentistry and was awarded a Citation Award for his service and accomplishments to the geriatric community. He graduated in 1988 from College of Mount Saint Vincent with a bachelors degree in biology and minor in chemistry. He is the proud father of two amazing and loving children. Dr. Baujin is a member of the Litchfield Dental Society. He has served as president multiple times as well as other positions within the society directing committee. He is a member of the Connecticut State Dental Association and has served on its Peer Review Committee for many years. He is a Life Member of the American Dental Association having an organizational affiliation for more than 30 years. He has been a volunteer dentist for The Brooker Memorial Children Dental Clinic, and serves on its Dental Steering Board, Dental committee, and its Board of Managers. He has organized and participated in many school and committee sponsored “C.h.I.P.” programs, as well as community outreach programs. Dr. Baujin enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry in our Torrington and New Hartford Offices. He enjoys his continuing education studies as well as implementing new skills and technology. Dr. Baujin lives in Torrington. He is active in the Boy Scouts of America (Scouting America) and has served as an Assistant Scout Master of Troop 3, Cub Master of Pack 3, committee member, and past district chairperson. He has participated in facilitating and organizing several district and multi-district events and Camporees. He is a member of the Order of the Arrow. He enjoys volunteering at Camp Workcoeman as well as teaching merit badges. His son Noah is an Eagle Scout, and his Daughter Ada is the recipient of the Girl Scout Gold Award. He is also a member and volunteer of B.P.O.E of Elk’s Lodge No. 372 since 1992. Dr. Baujin is a active parishioner and trustee of St. Maron Maronite Church. He has taught catechism and serves on the parish council. Dr. Baujin enjoys camping, kayaking and hiking. When the garden is pruned and watered you’ll find him in the garage working on his Jeep and Chevy.
