Dr Marwa Abulhasan

Marwa Abulhasan is our Periodontist. She was born and raised in Kuwait. She completed her high school in Kuwait and moved to the United States to complete her higher education. She attended University of Pittsburgh where she gained her Bachelor of Science (BS) and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degrees. She then worked as a general dentist in Kuwait for a few years where she gained clinical experience and understood the importance of knowing more. This is when she decided to specialize in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. She completed her training at The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2012. She also finished a Master's Degree in Craniofacial Biology at the same time. Since then she combined clinical work with teaching to stay on top of learning. She taught Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Kuwait University and The Kuwaiti Board for Advanced General Dentistry. She also worked as a clinician in Kuwait before returning to the United States. Upon her return, she obtained one more degree from USC in 2019: Masters of Medical Management. She now works as clinician in both California and Nevada and maintains a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dentistry at University of Southern California. Dental related humanitarian relief work is something Dr. Abulhasan has been focusing on since she started her dental career. As for her patients, she focuses on understanding them, their needs and tailoring treatment accordingly. Other than enjoying what she does workwise, she explores the world by traveling and spending time with family and friends.
