Dr. Kim grew up locally in Edmonds after moving from Korea in the 1980s. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 1997. He is married and have two grown up boys. His other passion besides dentistry is cooking. He loves to create new flavors and dishes that his guests enjoy. He also likes to play golf when he has free time. Giving back to the community is something he believes in. Volunteering time with his skills to help people who are less fortunate is very rewarding to Dr. Kim. He also makes annual trips to Mexico doing dentistry to those who can't afford to seek help.
