Dr Lauren Burgess

Dr. Lauren Burgess grew up in Dawsonville, Georgia, where she learned the value of hard work, community, and kindness from an early age. She attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The Dental College of Georgia. After dental school, she completed a year-long residency in General Practice and Hospital Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she gained advanced training in comprehensive patient care. Dr. Burgess is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. She believes in a gentle, compassionate approach, listening to each patient’s needs, explaining treatment clearly, and working together to achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. She takes great joy in caring for families and building long-term relationships with her patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Burgess enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and exploring local restaurants and farmers markets. She and her fiancé, Dr. Caleb Jensen, are excited to call Woodstock home and look forward to serving the community together for years to come.
