Dr. Gwen Eaker received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and received her dental hygiene certificate and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Eaker enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but she has the most experience in crown and bridge work and finds getting her patients out of pain to be very satisfying. She also enjoys 3rd molar extractions. Dr. Eaker enjoys dentistry for many reasons. With young children, she likes to put her education degree to use by educating them on how to care for their teeth so they can enjoy a beautiful, healthy smile their whole life. For the people who had no education, bad habits or life just “happened” and they feel they have no hope, Dr. Eaker enjoys giving those people hope again and getting them to smile again. Outside of work Dr. Eaker enjoys spending time in the city of Pittsburgh, PA and in Ohio, where she enjoys a day trip to Chagrin Falls. She also enjoys eating out and spending time with her two French bulldogs, Guapo and Gisella.
