Dr. Elsahy was born in Egypt and immigrated to the United States with her parents when she was just one year old. She grew up in Carmel, Indiana, and credits her lifelong interest in healthcare to both her parents being physicians. Dentistry particularly interested her because it blends her two interests in art and science. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Spanish from Butler University in Indianapolis. In 2013, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Elsahy gained advanced experience in the restoration of dental implants, oral sedation, and oral surgery during a General Practice Residency at the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dentistry allows Dr. Elsahy to care for her patients and alleviate their pain while also allowing her to use her artistic skills to help them gain confidence and achieve the beautiful smile they've always wanted. Dr. Elsahy is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), American Dental Association (ADA), Indiana Dental Association (IDA), and Indianapolis District Dental Society (IDDS). Dr. Elsahy is fluent in Arabic and Spanish and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She lives in Fishers, Indiana with her husband, Abdul, their two sons, and the most recent addition last year; welcoming a baby girl to the family. Dr. Elsahy loves to bake and admits to having a bit of a sweet tooth! She frequently brings her tasty treats to the office, and some may or may not be tooth-shaped. Crafting also brings Dr. Elsahy joy, and she often creates personalized T-shirts, cake toppers, and party decorations with her Cricut.
