Dr. John Reno is originally from Muncie, Indiana. He attended Indiana University, where he graduated with a B.A. in Biology. After completing his undergraduate work, Dr. Reno attended Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Reno began his dental career at a public health clinic in Wichita, Kansas before returning to Indiana to enter into private practice. He is proud to continue a strong family legacy of dentistry, as both his father (dentist) and his mother (hygienist) had a private practice in Muncie, IN for almost forty years. His dream even before dental school was to be a single-dentist practice owner, working alongside an incredible, long-tenured staff, and upholding the integrity of the dental profession. He feels extremely lucky to bring that dream to life with Reno Family Dentistry. His mission is to build lasting relationships with the people in his community so he can provide a comfortable place for them to obtain dental care. Dr. Reno loves attending continuing education on various topics to stay up-to-date on the latest dental advances and technologies to ensure the best possible care to his patients. Dr. Reno lives in Carmel, Indiana with his wife, Andrea, and two daughters, Mabel and Danielle. He feels strongly about positively impacting the community and enjoys giving back through volunteering at the Trinity Free Clinic in Carmel, IN and the Heart and Soul Clinic in Westfield, IN. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, hiking, and traveling. Dr. Reno is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. He currently serves on the IDDS Dental Peer Review Committee.
