Dr. Mark Catton joined an established family dental practice on the corner of 49th and Pennsylvania in 1983. A native of Indianapolis, Dr. Catton attended St. Pius X Grade School and Chatard High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Indiana University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the IU School of Dentistry, where he graduated with High Honors. He has extensive post graduate studies in all fields of General Dentistry including Endodontic (Root Canal Therapy), Cosmetic and Esthetic Dentistry, Periodontal Maintenance (continuing care for gums and bone around the teeth), Orthodontics, Functional Dental Appliances, and Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) Treatment. Dr. Catton is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. He is a regular volunteer at the Trinity Free Clinic in Hamilton County which provides free dental care to area residents in need. Dr. Catton and his wife, Germaine, have four children and four grandchildren: Nick (wife Natalie and daughters Emma and Charlotte), Beth (husband James, daughter Addie and son Beau), Sam, and Ben, and they reside in Westfield, Indiana, where they attend Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. In his spare time, Dr. Catton enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, fishing, traveling, and playing golf and tennis with his family.
