Dr Upen J. Patel

Upen J. Patel, DDS, MAGD, FICD, FPFA. Dr. Patel combines more than 20 years of clinical experience with a deep passion for dental education. A graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, he completed advanced training with highest honors and continues to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry through ongoing education. Dr. Patel also serves as a faculty member at the University of the Pacific, contributes to national dental journals, and is recognized internationally for his expertise in advanced dental care. Dr. Patel is as passionate about teaching dentistry as he is about practicing it. He is committed to staying current through continuing education and generously shares his more than 20 years of expertise by volunteering at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. In addition, he contributes articles to national dental journals and serves as a Key Opinion Leader for numerous dental products worldwide. Dr. Patel earned his DDS from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2005, graduating as one of the youngest in his class. He concluded an outstanding senior year by receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Academy of Operative Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at PACIFIC University, where he graduated with highest honors as class Valedictorian. Dr. Patel is highly proficient in a wide range of advanced dental procedures and techniques. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed creating beautiful smiles, but what I’m most passionate about are the relationships I’ve built with my patients, colleagues, and team. I was born and raised in London–Wimbledon, England, and have called the Sacramento area home for the past 20 years.
