Elizabeth Slocum DMD grew up in Virginia, graduated from Radford University, and worked as a chemist before returning to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she graduated in 1994. She and her husband, Terry, also a dentist, practice together in Cartersville, Georgia. They have four children and are actively involved in their community. Dr. Beth serves as a faculty member for the American Academy of Facial Esthetics where she teaches botox and dermal filler techniques, as well as, TMJ and Orofacial pain to dentists and physicians. She frequently teaches in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami. She loves learning and believes continuing education is the key to a successful practice. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and an active member and Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). Dr. Beth is involved in multiple community service organizations where she serves in leadership roles. She enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, reading, traveling, and relaxing at the beach.
