Dr Skylar Yearous

Born and raised in Georgia, Dr. Skylar Yearous is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through gentle, personalized care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. After graduation, he spent some time in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, before returning to Georgia to pursue his dental education. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Yearous continued his training through the General Practice Residency Program at the Dental College of Georgia, where he gained advanced expertise in a range of areas, including implant placement, bone augmentation, complex extractions, IV sedation, and endodontic procedures. He is a dedicated member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Georgia Dental Association. Originally from Rome, Georgia, Dr. Yearous enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle with his wife, Hannah, and their two sons, Yates and Wells. Together, they love traveling, hiking, climbing, beekeeping, homebrewing craft beer, woodworking, fishing, and skiing.
