Dr. Erica Recker grew up on a farm outside of Oelwein, Iowa. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa, where she received a BS with distinction in Integrative Physiology in 2013. She continued her education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics, completing her DDS with research honors in 2018. Dr. Erica is a member of the Iowa Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Erica joined Family SmileCare Center in August 2022. Outside of shaping smiles, she enjoys reading, napping, a good Netflix binge, and supporting the performing arts. While currently residing in Iowa City, Dr. Erica looks forward to moving closer to the office with her boyfriend, Andrew, and her future dog!
