Dr. Peterson was born and raised in Waterloo, IA. He earned his bachelor of science degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa. He has practiced in Cedar Rapids since 1980. Most of his current staff has been with him for more than 30 years. He and his wife, Lisa have two daughters, Hanna and Halle, that live in the Ft. Meyers, FL area. He has been past Young Dentist of the Year as well as President of the Linn County and University District dent societies. He has also been a trustee for the Iowa Dental Society. He enjoys flying of which he flew Iowa coaches on recruiting trips for 33 years.
