Dr James Heaton

Dr. Heaton loves all aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing excellent treatment to his patients in a comfortable atmosphere. He takes every opportunity to make sure you understand what to expect, and he will diligently answer your questions throughout the procedure. Through his dedication to education, Dr. Heaton was awarded a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, having completed more than 500 hours of continuing education. Dr. Heaton has advanced training in implant and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is a Fellow of the California Implant Institute. He is also trained and experienced in orthodontics, having completed a two-year residency and fellowship program with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. Dr. Heaton was raised in Roosevelt, Utah. After completing a two-year service mission in the West Indies, Dr. Heaton received a bachelor’s degree in Advanced Radiologic Sciences from Weber State University. He then continued his education at Ohio State University, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
