A native of Chatham County, NC, Dr. Seagroves didn't have to travel far for his undergraduate degree in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors and distinction. He continued his studies at UNC by earning his DDS degree with honors, graduating at the top of his class with a 4.0 GPA and receiving awards for scholarship and ethics. At the end of his dental school career he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. He became a Triple Tar Heel by completing graduate studies with a Master's degree and certificate in Endodontics at UNC, where he served as chief resident. In dental school and later in residency, he studied with Dr. Tawil and is fortunate for the opportunity to work closely with him at Governors Endodontics. He's a current Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics & serves as the Graduate Program Director of Endodontics at UNC where he helps in teaching activities in Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry & their Trauma Team. Outside of the office, Dr. Seagroves enjoys cooking, reading, and the outdoors. He and his wife are blessed and kept busy with a son and two dogs.
