Dr. Sofia Uraizee is a Charlotte native who discovered her passion for dentistry early on and was drawn to the field for its balance of science, artistry, and meaningful patient care. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by advanced residency training in Los Angeles with coursework at UCLA and hands-on experience treating veterans at the Sepulveda VA. Dr. Uraizee officially joined the River Vista Dentistry team this past summer after getting married, though many patients may have already seen her around the office in recent years. She is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and creating comfortable, high-quality dental experiences tailored to each patient’s goals. Outside the office, Dr. Uraizee enjoys spending time with family and friends, writing, traveling, and exploring new places. She is excited to continue caring for patients at River Vista Dentistry and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
