Dr. Ben Rowland grew up in Virginia and attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he obtained both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Prior to attending college, Dr. Rowland was a Navy Corpsman (medic) working with the US Marine Corps. While he was deployed to Iraq in 2005, Dr. Rowland’s brother sent him a letter that contained an article titled “The Most Rewarding Professions.” Being a dentist was at the top of the list. That letter opened Dr. Rowland’s eyes to a way that he could still practice medicine, but not have the life-and-death weight of working in a war zone. Dr. Rowland has been exposed to and has experience in all aspects of general dentistry. He is passionate about treating his patients the way he would want his own family to be treated. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Rowland loves to read and spend time with his wife and their 6 children.
