Dr. Deena Alani grew up in a family of physicians in the Middle East. She was inspired to pursue a career in the medical field at an early age. Dr. Deena is passionate about helping others, especially patients who feel too self-conscious to smile. She finds helping her patients to discover their best smiles very rewarding, and she enjoys her work. Dr. Deena graduated from Baghdad University in 2001 and then moved to Dubai to live and work for five years. After moving to the U.S. in 2009, Dr. Deena completed dental school at the University of Pennsylvania, and the couple moved to Chattanooga in 2013. Initially, Dr. Deena worked for a local practice, but she and Dr. Wesam opened their own dental office in 2016. In her free time, Dr. Deena likes to spend time with her family, including her two kids, Leya and Yousef. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing Mah Jongg. She is also a self-described coffee addict and loves soccer.
