Dr. Margaret Schwan was born and raised in Hampton Roads. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine–Illinois, just outside of Chicago. Dr. Schwan is passionate about patient-centered care and believes that dentistry is not just about treating teeth, but about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their oral health. She especially values taking the time to educate patients and empowering them to take an active role in their treatment. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Schwan enjoys spending time with her husband, relaxing at the beach, staying active, and exploring her creative side through painting.
