Dr. Brent Kincaid joined us in 2009 after completing 12 years of service as a dentist and oral surgeon in the United States Air Force. Dr. Kincaid grew up in the St. Louis area and attended the six-year dental program at UMKC, graduating in 1997. He immediately entered the United States Air Force, where he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency, followed by three years as a practicing Air Force dentist. In 2001, he entered advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Air Force’s largest trauma and training hospital, Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Upon completing his residency, he was assigned to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he served on the hospital staff and was the director of oral surgery training for the AEGD residency. His military service took him to such diverse places as Virginia, South Korea, Colorado, Texas, Greenland, and Belize. He separated at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and moved back home to join St. Louis County Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he was a former patient!
