Dr Rory Ashdown

As the son of an oil and gas worker, Dr. Rory Ashdown grew up moving frequently within the United States and also had the opportunity to live in two foreign countries. He is the 5th out of seven kids in his family. Having grown up in a large family and experienced a myriad of different cultures, Dr. Ashdown has learned to get along with many different types of people and enjoys the opportunity to interact with all his patients on a daily basis. Dr. Ashdown grew up loving sports, and played tennis, wrestling, and soccer all through his high school years. He finished high school in Riverton, Wyoming, and then attended the University of Wyoming. He married his wife, Annie, during the summer after he graduated from UW and then started dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. They enjoyed their time in Lincoln and added two precious daughters, Jane and Maddie, to their family. Dr. Ashdown obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated with academic honors in his class. In 2020, Dr. Ashdown and his family moved back to Wyoming and settled in Cheyenne. Dr. Ashdown has been excited to officially become a partner and partial owner. Dr. Ashdown and Annie are now expecting their third daughter at the end of 2022. He enjoys going to sporting events, especially at the University of Wyoming, and traveling to see the Buffalo Bills. He also enjoys spending time with his family and trying all kinds of food. Dr. Ashdown is a member of the American Dental Association and is currently in a leadership role in the local Southeast Wyoming Dental Association.
