Dr. Nidhi Shah attended the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, NJ where she received her Master’s in Dental Science (MDS) and Certificate in Periodontics in 2014. She is Board Certified with the American Academy of Periodontology and earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Mumbai, India, in 2009. In the past six years, Dr. Shah has worked at multiple private practices across Northern Virginia. She has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty, including demonstrating comprehensive mastery of all phases of periodontal disease and treatment and in the placement of dental implants. She is very enthusiastic about teaching, keeps herself current with continuing education courses, and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and the American Academy fo Implant Dentistry (AAID). Dr. Shah believes in providing a comprehensive treatment focused on preserving the periodontium. She is popular among patients for her gentle approach and superior clinical results.
