Dr. Yana Nedvetsky has practiced in Chicago for over 20 years. She is dedicated to developing and maintaining long-term relationships with her patients and strives to provide expert comprehensive care. Dr. Nedvetsky received her dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio where she was awarded the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology. She then went on to obtain multiple certificates in advanced oral surgery at different institutions such as the Misch International Implant Institute and Fellowship, the Pikos Implant Institute, and the Edward P. Allen Center for Advanced Dental Education to name a few. She joined the Department of Orthodontics at the UIC College of Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor in 2007 and continues to teach. Dr. Nedvetsky has served as the President of the Chicago Dental Forum, and as the chair of the hospitality committee in the Academy of Operative Dentistry. Currently Dr. Nedvetsky serves as the vice president of the Academy of Operative Dentistry. She spends her spare time supporting the pursuits of her three children: Jan – a cellist, Natalie – a pianist and student of classical piano performance at Juilliard School and Russian Literature and History at Columbia University, and Nicole – a journalist and founder of “Unearth Women” initiative.
