Dr. Nathan Brooks knew from a young age that he wanted to be a dentist. With encouragement from his grandfather, a biology professor at Purdue University, he persevered despite not caring much for science. He reflected on his childhood dentist who explained care and made him feel at ease. He prides himself on education: 'I don’t want to just take this instrument and put it in your mouth; I want to explain why I’m doing it and how it can benefit your oral health.' On weekends, he adventures with his wife and four children, plays board games, music, and serves his community through church and practice projects.
