Dr Tom Ionna

Dr. Ionna joins our practice with 43 years of experience in general dentistry. As a strong proponent of continuing education in dentistry, he brings to our patients all levels of general dental health care, as well as the most advanced treatments in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. Dr. Ionna was born in Cincinnati and graduated from St. Xavier High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences at Xavier University in 1977. He attended The Ohio State University of Dentistry, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). In 1981, Dr. Ionna established his private practice in Middletown, Ohio, where he served generations of families. He raised his family in Middletown and served on the Board of Education and Athletic Board for John XXIII Elementary School. In 2015 Dr. Ionna joined the practice of Dr. Douglas MacLean in Middletown, where he continued to serve his patients and help grow that practice. Dr. Ionna is now residing back in Cincinnati and looking forward to establishing new patients here. Dr. Ionna's focus is on patient-centered care. He acknowledges each patient's unique needs, tailors care to their requirements, and delivers treatments that provide the best experience and smile results. He enjoys taking time to know his patients, their families, and their unique interests. When not working, Dr. Ionna and his wife, Angela, enjoy Italian cooking, traveling, family vacations, and day trips with their grandchildren. He also enjoys biking on the Little Miami trails, playing golf, and coaching basketball.
