Mr Veran A. Fairrow

Veran A. Fairrow, DDS, MPH has been a public health proponent for her entire dental career, she served as the Director of Oral Health Services for the Tennessee Department of Health from 2014 until July 2021. She has served the public for over nineteen years as a clinician, a school-based dentist, twice as a regional dental director and now in her current position as Associate Professor at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. During a break in her public health career, she ran a solo private practice for over eleven years. Fairrow graduated from Austin Peay State University, The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry and East Tennessee State University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and the Tennessee Public Health Association.
