Dr. Malek was raised in Raleigh, NC where he attended Millbrook High School. After his high school graduation in 1985, he continued his education at North Carolina State University where he received his undergraduate degree in 1990, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1999 from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. He is an active member of the North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Society, and the Raleigh- Wake County Dental Society. Dr. Malek has been practicing in Knightdale, NC since November of 2001. He is a strong believer in giving back to the community. He has participated in several mission trips including Costa Rica, El Salvador and the Middle East. He has also offered his dental services to the NC Missions of Mercy Clinic in Raleigh. Dr. Malek enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Knight and their three children. His hobbies include fishing, soccer and traveling.
