Dr Shovon Kasem

Dr. Shovon Kasem is the founder of Restoration Dental in Clermont, FL. Dr. Kasem earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the prestigious University of Florida. At UF, he was noted to be among the top clinically gifted dentists and was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award and the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award. He is a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and is a member of AGD, ADA, FDA, CFDA, AAID, AACD. As a respected figure in the dental community, Dr. Kasem continued his passion for education through teaching. He lectures all over the country, where he teaches dentists and surgeons continuing education on 3D printing, implant dentistry, and practice management. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He is an Invited Lecturer and Adjunct Faculty at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He lectures for Digital Educators, and Implant Educators Academy. He is a speaker for Blatchford Solutions, a dental consulting company. He also serves as a key opinion leader for many leading dental companies, offering his expertise on their product development. Dr. Kasem’s teaching extends beyond the borders of the United States. He has partnered with University of Florida on humanitarian trips to Guatemala and Ecuador, where each year he takes dental students from UF to teach them hands on surgery on indigenous populations. Throughout his career, Dr. Kasem has continuously sought out advanced training to expand his skills and provide his patients with the most cutting-edge restorative treatments. He has completed over 700 hours of continuing education and acquired numerous degrees and certifications following his dental school training, placing him among the top dentists in clinical training.
