Dr. Charles Puryear received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2012, after receiving his undergraduate degree from Tennessee Chattanooga. He also has additional training at the American Academy of GP Orthodontics and is an associate fellow. Dr. Puryear decided to pursue a career in dentistry when he realized that a general dentist gets to be part of someone’s life over a period of decades. He felt that was a wonderful aspect of the profession that he wanted to enjoy. Getting to see his work stand the test of time is truly gratifying. Dr. Puryear enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He feels the diversity of general dentistry allows him to treat simple to complex cases. His areas of expertise includes dental implant prosthetics and full mouth reconstruction. One of his favorite parts about his day is seeing patients during their hygiene exams because it allows him to catch up on their lives and interests. In Dr. Puryear’s free time, he and his wife enjoy keeping busy with their children’s many activities.
