Dr. Allport is originally from Beckley, WV, and he has been working in dentistry for 18 years and counting. He attended Fairmont University before pursuing his doctorate at West Virginia University. He also has his Master of Science in Prosthodontics, which required three additional years of studying after dental school. Dr. Allport has won multiple dental awards as well over the course of his career, spoken at countless annual dental meetings on a variety of topics, and is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, and the Christian Dental Society. Dr. Allport is married to hometown girl Candy Ann, and they have three children together. His hobbies outside of dentistry include tennis – he actually had a tennis scholarship in college and still plays on national teams. He also farms cattle. One other interesting fact about Dr. Allport is that he’s ambidextrous — helpful in dentistry!
