Born in Montclair and raised in nearby Montville, NJ, Dr. Dena Constandelis has deep roots in the community and a passion for providing high-quality dental care in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The importance of dental care was ingrained in her from a young age by her father, Dr. Theodore “Teddy” Constandelis. After graduating from Montville Township High School, Dr. Dena went on to obtain her B.S. Degree in Biology from Georgetown University. She attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She then completed a one year General Practice Residency at Mountainside Hospital. Dr. Dena is active in numerous dental organizations such as the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the Passaic County Dental Association, where she is a past president. She is also a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners and the International Team for Implantology. She thoroughly enjoys helping people smile brighter everyday. She is an avid believer that less is more and recommends minimally invasive procedures whenever possible. When not at the office, you can find Dr. Dena spending time with her two daughters, going down the shore in the summer, exploring new restaurants, and cycling on her Peloton.
