Dr. Irum was born and raised in Pakistan where she practiced as a dentist for 6 years before moving to Michigan with her family. Once she was settled stateside, she earned her DDS from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. After graduating, she moved back to Michigan and practiced in Southfield before opening Opal Dental Group with her son.
