Dr. Carlos J. Huergo is a Cuban-trained dentist who completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Havana. After relocating to the United States, he continued advancing his academic and clinical expertise, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. His clinical focus includes a wide range of dental surgery procedures, such as the treatment of infected teeth, management of dentoalveolar trauma, impacted wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting and regeneration, sinus lift procedures, biopsies, platelet-rich growth factor therapy, and dental implant placement. He has completed Advanced IV Moderate Sedation training.
